You have landed on this page to find out more about me! Stick around to know more. But, you don’t have to. Lol!

I am a wife and mother of two grown children. I have a Moyen Poodle (Asher) that keeps me busy because he’s like a toddler putting everything in his mouth. If I don’t get to him quick enough, he will chew up my favorite sandals, socks and blankets! Recently, our poodle became a father of a litter of 8 puppies. We were able to keep one and now we have a Labradoodle (Baby) and a Poodle! 💕

Family!

My husband owns a landscaping business and is a wonderful daddy and provider for our family.

My first born is Drew! He is a 33 year old adult with Cerebral Palsy. He is my forever child at home. I take care of his personal needs daily along with my family. This also involves doctors visits and some hospital stays. He has a beautiful personality and is such a blessing. He has taught me more than I could have ever taught him. Having my Drew has helped me in the classroom with understanding my students that have special needs.

My second child is Wimberly. She is 31. She is a beautiful soul that loves art and animation. She has a YouTube channel and works daily to make that a hit! I am rooting her on daily. She also works for a home health company that employs her to care of my son so I can be a full time teacher. Win-Win!

TPT

I own a TPT business and work on creating products first of all that I need in my classroom. I work on it almost every night during the school year from 15 minutes to 2 hours each day. Of course, there are exceptions. Sometimes I fall asleep after a hard day in first grade! In the summer months, I go full time working on products I need. I figure if I need them, someone else might too. 🙂

Podcast

I started a podcast in the fall of 2024! I talk about all things education! I have everything from lesson planning, comprehension strategies, and Biblical curriculum. You can find links to my podcast on the menu of my homepage.

Hobbies

I love to do so many things! Honestly, creating products is my absolute favorite. But I truly love to sew. When my kiddos were little, I made all their church clothes. We even had a few matching. Yea, I was that mom. Lol!

Related to sewing, I learned how to quilt. I made a few quilts over the years and even gave some of them to family members.

I don’t like to cook. Haha… but I do get inspired on occasion to make something I see on social media. My family truly loves it when I get inspired. With that said, I do cook every night! 🙂
